2. Faculty internal E-mail System (For staff only)

The Faculty is running an internal email system in parallel with the University's email system to provide communication channels for all of us. The internal email system has the advantage of having better security and more build-in functionalities like address book. It also functions as a backup channel when the University's email system goes down or too busy.

For Faculty full-time colleagues who wants to read the internal email outside campus, we would like to introduce that there is a web-based interface available so that you can read/send your email easily at home without having to change any setting in your comptuer. All you need is a web browser. Some users also found that it is useful when they travel oversea for conference/seminar.

Web Address: http://serverb.fed.cuhk.edu.hk/exchange

To login the web interface, you need to provide the following information:
LogOn : Similar to your office PC login name but ignore the suffix "_EDU". (For example, GARY)
The USERNAME and PASSWORD is the SAME as the your office PC (For example, GARY_EDU)

For members who forget the Office PC login USERNAME, you can find it at the login sceen when you power on your computer.
