The Effect of Inputting Modality of Secondary Task on Tracking Performance and Mental Workload (Article written in chinese)

Abstract

Dual-task paradigms based on a personal computer was used in this study to examine the effect of inputting feature of secondary task (including video inputting and audio inputting) on tracking and mental workload. The results indicated that the performance of single task was predicted by the principle of S-C-R compatibility, while performance of dual task was predicted by the multiple resources theory of attention, when a tracking task and a spatial memory task were applied in this study.
