Abstract
Education is the cornerstone of national rejuvenation, and equal access to education provides an important underpinning for social equity. The Seventeenth National Congress of the Communist Party of China has upgraded the strategic status of educational undertakings to a new height, and put forward new objectives of our educational development. That is to give more prominence to the national educational objectives, to give more prominence to the objectives of educational quality, to give more prominence to emphasizing the functional objectives of educational system, to give more prominence to emphasizing the modernization degree of education. We should start from the overall situation of the socialist career of Chinese characteristics, learn earnestly to precisely master the basic spirit of the Seventeenth National Congress of the Communist Party of China, and push forward the development of the Chinese Characteristics Socialist educational undertakings in an all-round way.
