Abstract
The determination of Chinese humanity and social science core periodicals has some special roles and meanings. There are many ways to determine core periodicals, such as Application of Bradford’s Law, Method of Abstracting, Method of Using Ratio, Method of Literature’s Rate (or Quantity), Method of Expert’s Judge, Method of Citation Analysis, etc. Chinese Humanity and Social Science Citation Index is edited on the basis of the Chinese humanity and social science core periodicals. Periodical Chinese Humanity and Social Science Index will bring forth new List of Core Periodicals of Chinese Humanity and Social Science. The necessary demands for the work of joining the Chinese core periodicals and the Chinese citation indexes to the international ones are expounded in the paper.
