Abstract
As we are now in the twenty-first century, it’s time to look back at what has changed to librarianship in the last decade, what challenges this profession has faced, and what position library professionals should take in the rapidly evolving technological environment. This article investigates the above situations by providing information on the demands of the profession, changes library schools made, and an outlook of the future.
