A Study on the Expectation of Medical Teachers of Medical Instructional Resources Center — A Case Study of NTU Medical Center (Article written in chinese)

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to investigate how medical teachers’ expectation on Medical Instructional Resources Center (MIRC) at National Taiwan University Medical Center (NTUMC) as a case study. By means of questionnaire survey, this study investigated medical 375 formal faculty’s satisfaction of present instructional support and expectation on the function of medical instructional resources center. Total questionnaires return rate was 73.42%. Results of the survey indicated that Medical teachers at NTUMC were not satisfied with present instructional support services and they proposed organizational integration of relative divisions to provide overall instructional support services. The results of prioritized functions of MIRC were: (1) audiovisual materials design and production, (2) teaching tools and software-hardware support, (3) faculty development for professional instruction, (4) classroom environment arrangement and maintenance, (5) diffusing medical instructional technology, and (6) distance education support.
