Evaluating Effectiveness of the Library User Education: A Case Study of Pharmacy Department in Tajen Institute of Technology (Article written in chinese)

Abstract

Evaluation of instruction will become increasingly important because demonstrating the impact that library user education has on its students can possibly assist in strengthening student’s desire to learn. In Taiwan, library provides various user education courses, it lacks a continue evaluating program yet. The purpose of this study is to evaluate the attitude and effectiveness of the “Library User Education” course. A survey distribute to all students of Pharmacy Department of Tajen Institute of Technology. The results of this survey were positive. Evaluation of course is to help instructor improving content of instruction and teaching methodology, and providing some suggestions for the library user education.
