Using Computer Assistance in Teaching About Asia

Abstract

A specialist in comparative education and cultures and consultant on integrating technology into the curriculum discusses quality Web resources for teaching about Asia and provides innovative approaches to incorporating these sites into creative high-tech lessons. The author also provides model Web pages for educators that feature bookmarks to links for research and reference purposes. This article is based on a presentation made at the Southeast Conference of the Association for Asian Studies in Chattanooga, TN, on Saturday, January 18, 2002.
