VRA Core: A Metadata Standard of Visual Resources (Article written in chinese)

Abstract

With the speedy development of Internet resources and image databases, many metadata standards were created. VRA Core is one of the standards for sharing these digital visual resources. It was developed by Visual Resources Association and implemented by several institutions in foreign countries. This article describes what is VRA Core, and its development and special features. Comparisons to MARC21 and DC are also included.
