On the Structure and Meaning of Information Literacy (Article written in Chinese)

Abstract

Information literacy means the integration of the ability of how to discover, analyze, organize, disseminate and create knowledge. There are three layers in information literacy: idea, technology and content. Information literacy is the combination of culture literacy, computer literacy, Internet literacy and media literacy. As a basic literacy for a person in the information society, information literacy is important for individual as well as society.
