COMMITMENT TO SERVICES: A MANIFESTO FOR CHANGE IN LIBRARY SCIENCE EDUCATION

Abstract
This paper addressed five concepts relation to the education of librarians and information professionals for academic service in assertion that an actual commitment to service can be a manifesto for change: environment awareness, cooperation, planning, policy and acceptance of change.
