This paper presents a methodology to develop all library pathfinder, which will dispiay the retrieved information by librarians or computer expert systems and provide the requested subject to the readers. The developed pathfinder was used as a learn guide in the courses including "Computer lntegrated Manufacturing", "Western Refereence/lnformation Services" and "Scientific and Technology Information Resources". The possible method of utilizing the object oriented programming technology to construct the expert system for the pathfinder is also discussed in the paper. An application example on Engineering Data Management System (EDMS) is listed in the appendix.
