SUPPORT SERVICES FOR ADULT LEARNERS ENROLLED IN DISTANCE EDUCATION COURSES

Abstract
This article describes efforts at offering support for adult learners who enroll in courses via distance learning technologies. A review of specific literature an real testimonials are included. Student and teacher perspectives are also included. Distance education is a method that allo vs students to tailor their needs and schedule to the degree requirements of the institution. It adds another alternative for the adult learner, and in many cases this alternative makes the difference that will allow an individual to pursue an education goal.
