An Exploratory Study on the Value Orientation and It's Related Factors of Rights / Power in Education

Abstract
The purpose of this study was trying to construct a analysis frame and develop scales for the value orientation of rights/power in education. Then, 634 teachers' college students, belonging to 8 colleges in Taiwan, were randomly sampled. They were evaluated by the scales. The statistical methods of Factor Analysis, One-way ANOVA, MANOVA, Step-wise Regression and T-test Were used in the study.

The main findings in this study were presented as follows: (1) The analysis frame of structure and function for rights/power in education, constructed by this study, had empirical feasibility. (2) In a society, the development of rights/power in education had the trend of structure before function. (3) The impact factors on individual value orientation of rights/power in education, school was more important than family. According to these findings, the author postulated some suggestions in Education for the future.
