An exploratory study on the recreational needs of the people in Taiwan, R.O.C.

Abstract
The purpose of this study was to investigate the leisure needs of citizens of Taiwan, R.O.C. The number of valid subjects was 1303. Data were analysised by T-test or F-test. The results show how sex differences, marital status, age, education level, family income, and residential area affect needs for leisure activities. Also discussed are the needs for different leisure facilities in different residential areas.

Ten recommendations are made on the results of this study.
