Current Situation and Problems of the Teaching of Chinese as a Second or Foreign Language (Article written in chinese)

Abstract

This paper mainly deals, in addition to the discussion of the important role of the study of bilingual education for national minorities in the global study of language education, with the theoretical developments in the teaching of Chinese as a second or foreign language. Firstly, the important significance of the theoretical study in the development of the discipline is expounded, and secondly the main content, course of development and achievements in the study of the basic and pedagogical theories are related. Thirdly, in view of the problems in the theoretical development of the discipline, the paper suggests it be necessary to handle correctly the relations between teaching and scientific research, between research and application of theory, and between case study and the study concerning the discipline as a whole.
