The Study of Second Language Acquisition and the Teaching of Chinese to Foreigners (Article written in chinese)

Abstract

The study of second language acquisition is a new branch in linguistics that has come into existence in the past 20 years in the favorable setting of psycho-linguistic studies. This article is first to present a brief review of such models of theoretical research in second language acquisition as the merging of different cultures, language accommodation, language accommodation monitor, the study of a common language grammar and the theory of neural functions. Second, it shows the enlightenment gained in the research of second language acquisition on the basis of the practice of Chinese-teaching to the foreigners in such aspects as the introduction of the Chinese culture, the guidance in language-learning motivation, the input (the teaching) of the language itself and the sequential development in language acquisition.
