WANG Canlong

Abstract

The constructions of democracy and legislation in China have unprecedentedly developed since 1980s. A series of laws and regulations have been issued by legislation departments. But there are certain inadequacies of the language expressions in the texts of some of the laws and regulations, which, to some extent, affect the solemnness and accuracy of the laws and regulations. This paper is intended to make an analysis of such ungrammatical or ill-formed sentences and put forward some suggestions for revision.
