On Dynamic Meaning of Words — With Reflections on the Characteristics of Translation Course (Article written in chinese)

Abstract

The dependence on the static meaning of words in dictionary in foreign students’ translating or writing is the main reason of their improper use of Chinese words. To improve their Chinese proficiency rapidly, they must learn to use the dynamic meaning of words more skillfully. Translation course in teaching Chinese as a foreign language plays an important and efficient role in the teaching of dynamic meaning of words.
