On the Normalization of Foreign Letters in Current Chinese Writing System (Article written in Chinese)

Abstract

As a new form of recording signs, foreign letters (FLS) have developed under the new social conditions in the Chinese writing system in addition to the traditional Chinese characters of several thousands years of history. Because the emergence of FIS is of short history and its use is unstable, the studies on the standardization of FIS are still a new area. This article tries to set up the method of standardization on the basis of the establishment of certain principles. Also in this article the author puts forward that the standardization of FIS can be realized using large corpus of contemporary Chinese.
