Abstract
In this paper I discuss the problems of the Tongyong Pinyin system by linguistic point of view, I point out that, based on the principles of phonemic solutions of alphabetic writing, there are serious defects in the system itself, therefore, it is my point of view that the Tongyong Pinyin is premature.
