Abstract
Speech strategy is one of the factors governing speech act in deep level, and is one of the targets of language teaching. The acquisition of speech strategies requires two contents in language teaching: the mapping relations between language items and speech strategies and the organization of texts. Applying the concept of speech strategy is significant to language teaching: 1) Resulting better teaching performance through observing and analyzing the functions of speech from a new perspective. 2) Contributing to make teaching activities focus on the pragmatic aspect. 3) Helping solve the two micro problems: paragraph and style teaching. 4) Fully improving and thoroughly strengthening the languageability of students.
