Abstract
Chinese is enjoying an international popularity around the world. With the actual teaching activities of Chinese as a foreign language, we should also put an eye on the Chinese used by the overseas Chinese people as their native language. Divergences have arisen between the overseas Chinese and the domestic Chinese. Therefore, it is necessary and also possible to study on their differences and then make them in harmony with each other. The pressing tasks at the present include nailing down the principles of harmonization, surveying the distribution of overseas Chinese and, as a result, to establish linguistic corpora, etc.
