ZHOU Xiaolin

Abstract

Four administrative laws in strengthening construction of administrative organization have been issued by legislative departments in China since the 1990s. To enforce these laws is highly important, not only in the sense that it can protect the citizens, the legal persons and non-legal-person organizations from illegal acts, but also in the sense that it can also promote the process of ruling state by law and administration by law. But there are certain inadequacies of the language expressions in the texts of some of the laws, which, to some extent, affect the accuracy and enforcement of the laws. This paper is intended to make an analysis of such ungrammatical or ill-formed sentences. It is our purpose to improve the quality of the legislation and to promote the process of ruling state by law.
