Abstract
The lack of public resources is a big problem in the research of Chinese Natural Language Processing (NLP).This paper suggests that the practice of open source code in software development can be used in the research of NLP. An Open Resource Platform for Chinese NLP (www.nlp.org.cn) is presented in this paper. This is a platform that provides various shareable resources for Chinese NLP, including source codes, lexicon, corpus and academic theses. The platform also supports concurrent development of NLP projects, including ordinary programming projects, corpus annotating projects and repository documents projects. This platform is expected to become a resource center for Chinese NLP.
