Abstract
The verb phrases of suo are very popular in Chinese in recent years. The usages of the fashionable phrases show the characteristics as following: the meaning of suo was extended and the verb has more semantic kinds of the patient elements. This paper discusses several major problems: the combining form, meaning class, etymology and the value to use.
