Classical Chinese Colloquialism Mandarin Dialect (Article written in Chinese)

Abstract

Chinese teaching in primary school and high school should dispose the relation between classical Chinese, colloquialism, mandarin and dialect in order to meet the demand of current Chinese. Classical Chinese should be extractive, pellucid and propitious to communicate the distillate of traditional culture, enjoy the artistic composition. Colloquialism is the emphasis of teaching in writing language which should include more colloquial articles in current and less in 1930’ and before. It is important to intensify the training in extraliterary writing language. We should have high regard for the training in hearing and speaking of mandarin, which was neglected in the past. It is also important to envisage the dialects and properly using them, eliminate disturbing of them. Furthermore, the author emphasizes to compile teaching material depending on the differences between dialects.
