Abstract
Term extraction with rule-based method should be supported by linguistic knowledge. This paper proposes the concept of “term component”. Based on 30,000 terms in the field of information science and technology, this paper presents the approaches and strategies to describe term component. We mainly use the attribute-value to describe the term component and the paper also outlines the attributes needed.
