Abstract
From the perspective of research and application, this paper puts forward some suggestions based on a study of the Standard Chinese Characters Table. These suggestions include: 1) The rage of standard Chinese characters should be clearly defined; 2) handling single Chinese character requires a comprehensive considerations; 3) special and appropriate attention should be given to the ranking of the sequence of characters in terms of pronunciations and meanings of the characters.
