Abstract
The widely using of block printing had had a great influence upon the structure and the pattern of Chinese Character. It made the writing characteristic of Chinese Character changed a great deal, and caused the printed Chinese Character came to being. Block printing not only restricted the main feature of printed Chinese Character, but also influenced the characteristic of the strokes of printed Chinese Character. To select and adjust the strokes in order to made Chinese Character be seasoned with block printing was the main reason made the difference between the strokes of modern Song typeface and Kai typeface, and was also the main reason made the difference between the strokes of new Character pattern and old Character pattern.
