Abstract
The paper Introduces New Words and New Senses in appendix of Xiandai Hanyu Cidian (2002’s edition) and comments on it. The author analyses the collection range, origins and formations of the 1200 new terns. Based on semantic classification, the paper discusses social background and structure feature of each class, also advances some ideas and suggestions on normalization.
