Exclamatory Sentences Formed by Single Words in Contemporary Chinese (Article written in Chinese)

Abstract

This paper observes the exclamatory sentences formed by single words excepting interjections in Contemporary Chinese. In the paper, we have analyzed the natures and features of the exclamatory sentences formed by single words from external and internal angles, and discussed in detail, the characteristics and types of the exclamatory sentences formed by single adjective words, single substantive words, single verb words or single adverb words in Contemporary Chinese, and the selection and restriction that this kind of sentences give to these four types of words. In the end, we have pointed out that the exclamatory sentences formed by single adjective words are in the ascendant utterly in Contemporary Chinese.
