The Pragmatic Analysis of Internet News (Article written in Chinese)

Abstract

The paper uses the pragmatic approach to analyze the news frame of two news stories on “Powell proposes talks without Arafat”, which is taken from the government organization websites of the United States and China. By the structure, presupposition, conversational principle and deixis, the paper intends to demonstrate how the media controlling discourse right send their wills and opinions to the audience by making use of their positions, arranging the text and choosing the words.
