Abstract
This paper, abroad metric analysis of “Qingsheng” (»´Án) Words in Modern Chinese Dictionary (96 edition), raises two principles, i.e. Necessity Principle and Consistency Principle after discussing their structural and semantic features. At the same time, the author points out that, the most important to standardize a language phenomenon is language facts themselves, not some criteria identified by a few experts.
