A New Perspective on the Study of Modern Chinese (Article written in Chinese)

LU Ruzhan & JIN Guangjin

Abstract

This paper, from the perspective of Computational Linguistics, analyzes the structure and meaning of modern Chinese by adopting the theory and techniques of Mathematical Logic. It aims at seeking the consistency between the grammatical structure and its semantic interpretation in Chinese. Such method of analyzing and interpreting is called Chinese Intentional Logic Model. Instead of offering formalized descriptions, this paper only analyzes the model with a couple of examples.

Keywords: concept; relation; isomorphism; intentional semantic logic
