Importance of Cross-cultural Perspective in Putonghua Teaching in Hong Kong (Article written in Chinese)

Abstract

The essay stresses that to teach the language effectively, Chinese teachers should not only tutor their students in the basic knowledge of the language, but also have sensitivity and respect for the differences in background, capabilities and difficulties. The most important part is understanding the cross-cultural perspective.
