Abstract
Reading part of “Putonghua” (´¶³q¸Ü) Proficiency Test is a kind of general test, which can refer written characters. All the selected articles must accord with the purpose and validity of test. Therefore with manual and machine methods, we analyze the anterior 400 syllables of each article and get the statistic result about the quantity of characters, the overlay of initial consonant, vowel, tones and er.
