Abstract
The history of loanwords in Chinese can be divided into three stages: loanwords of ancient Chinese, loanwords of modem Chinese and loanwords of contemporary Chinese, and each has its own strong peculiarity due to progress of Chinese and Chinese society. This paper aims to provide laws and experiences for standardization of contemporary loanwords.
