Abstract
It is objective that there is a semantic system and grid of Chinese lexical, which shows on the lexical forms (including words spoken and written forms).It benefits the lexical teaching of CSL (Chinese as a second language), and can be used to efficiently enlarge the learnersvocabulary quantity. Here it is posed the principles and strategies of lexical teaching based on the semantic grid of Chinese vocabulary: while teaching single-syllable word, highlighting the principle of linking the written form, pronunciation and meaning; while teaching compound word, highlighting the principle of analyzing morpheme.
