Abstract
Cyber language is a new language of media, which is also a new social dialect. There are some differences between cyber language and natural language in language style and form. This paper offers some distinctive features of cyber language from vocabulary, grammar to pragmatics. It draws a conclusion that the contradiction of economy principle and exactness principle which lies in the cyber language during language communication can be mediated by the function of automatic adjustment. At the end of this paper, the author discusses the view of normalization on cyber language.
