Abstract
In this paper, we study the foreign students understanding proportion of the Lettered Words by using the theory and the method of social linguistics. We propose some suggestion and the opinion about the Lettered Words teaching to the foreign students, based on the comparison of that of Chineses. That will provide a direct basis for the question of how to introduce the Lettered Words in teaching Chinese for the foreigners.
