On the Word Variation of Hankou Dialect Represents Human Behavior and Its Tendency (Article written in Chinese)

Abstract

The variation of Hankou dialect represents human behavior words is the acceptance and quotation from the mandarin words of representing human behavior, which acceptance and quotation have certain with factors concerning sex, age and educational level, etc. of respondents. The tendency of Hankou dialect words variation is determined by various characters. Due to the restriction from social environment and psychology of public language and the inter-restriction between pursuing dialect brink and seeking dialect protection, Hankou dialect variation is on the stage of relatively steady sitzkrieg. Without tremendous force from society, it is difficult to expand social distribution of Hankou dialect words variation. Therefore, tendency of Hankou dialect variation is actually determined by social impetus, which comes from the language policy and actions.
