Abstract
A detailed rating scale is critical to the quality of Putonghua Proficiency Test. It is helpful to consider the possibility of flexible individualized Putonghua Proficiency Test rating scales to meet the needs of different regions, but this also poses some problems. This article introduces a nation-wide investigation on the detailed rating scale. It analyzes some commonly held general problems and some urgent problems as well. This article discusses the cause of these problems and provides suggestions to improving the rating scale.
