Abstract
Language errors are common phenomena in language acquisition. This paper aims to investigate the sequencing of putonghua characters in Cantonese area. There are two types of errors: single and mixed. The relation between errors and facility is worked out through a quantitative analysis. The data in this paper will provide objective guidance for putonghua teaching and testing.
