Abstract
The standardization of Chinese character stroke orders is essential to Chinese language teaching, research, information retrieval and computer processing. The paper points out 19 stroke order errors in Chinese Character Stroke Order Standard of GB13000.1 Character Set and Chinese Character Order (Stroke-Ordered) Standard of GB13000.1 Character Set. Each error is then analyzed to trace its origin and a reasonable solution is proposed. Inconsistency in Chinese fonts in Windows XP are also pointed out for further exploration.
