The Cross-generational Differences of Language Use in Family Context (Article written in Chinese)

WU Meili

Abstract

This paper studies the cross-generational differences of language use of ethnic college students in their family discourse. The investigation tells that the cross-generational differences are popular in family with ethnic college students. The study of language use in family is likely to be overlooked, but it embodies the implicit tie between language use and planning. So we are supposed to plan the language practice according to its actual use.

Keywords: ethnic peoples; family; language use; cross-generational differences
