Abstract
There are many studies on the sentence final particle BA, but whether, and to what extent, BA is used for interrogation is still much disputed. Based on the perceptual experiment, this paper finds that intonation, context are also very important to the mood, and the fact is that BA is used solely for interrogation. But the function of BA for the interrogative tone of voice may be weakened considerably.
