Abstract
This paper analyzes the syntactic constraints on [A mono + N (NP)] linear sequence of authentic texts from corpora of Modern Chinese, and summarizes eight restriction rules of [A mono + N (NP)], and shares some thoughts about the syntagmatic combination of [X + A mono + N (NP) + Y] in order to provide a basic language repository to support the computer processing of natural language.
