Abstract

Chinese character recognition is the current focuses of attention of many local and foreign scholars. The first two papers introduce the OCR and pen-based input techniques. The next two papers discuss the methods of page analysis and context-based aided recognition. The last paper describes the issue of normalization of Chinese character recognition.
