Abstract
Arousing students' motivation to learn is an important step in teaching. Whether one can stimulate students' motivation to learn is an important factor in determining the result of teaching and students' achievement. This article first explore s the meaning of motivation, then the relationship between motivation theory and Chinese teaching. Furthermore, it discusses how to arouse motivation in the learning of the subject Chinese. Finally, it illustrates how to arouse motivation in the learning of the subject Chinese through 7 practical teaching examples.
